A straight stretch of road located on the southwestern slopes of Greenhill Dod in NE Dumfries and Galloway. The road (designated the B719) lies high above the M74 Motorway and Evan Water, 4 miles (6.5 km) north northwest of Moffat. It climbs steadily to the southeast.
