Mount Battock

A Corbett in the southern Grampians, Mount Battock rises to a height of 778m (2552 feet) on the border between Angus and Aberdeenshire to the north of Glen Esk. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed in
1936 for the re-triangulation of Great Britain. The Burn of Turret flows southwards from Mount Battock to meet the River North Esk.
