A steep little summit on the northern flank of Glen Trool in N Central Dumfries and Galloway, the Fell of Eschoncan rises to 360m (1181 feet) a half-mile (1 km) north of Loch Trool. There is an Ordnance Survey triangulation point on a false summit on its southern slopes, at a height of 348m (1141 feet).
