Sgurr na Ciche

Located in an area known as the Rough Bounds of Knoydart, in Lochaber, Highland Council area, Sgurr na Ciche rises to a height of 1040m (3412 feet) and has steep and rocky slopes, particularly on the northwest flank. Its name originates from Gaelic and means "peak of the breast". Its summit was once marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed 1948-49, but this was removed in 1983 and replaced by a ground-based marker.
