Sgurr na Ciche

Located in an area known as the Rough Bounds of Knoydart, in Lochaber, Highland Council area, Sgurr na Ciche rises to a height of 1040m (3413 feet) and has steep and rocky slopes, particularly on the northwest flank. Classified as a Munro, its name originates from Gaelic and means "peak of the breast". Its summit was once marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed 1948-49, but this was removed in 1983 and replaced by a ground-based marker.
