A summit deep within the Carsphairn Forest in N Dumfries and Galloway, Petillery Hill rises to 407m (1335 feet) on the western shoulder of Meaul overlooking the Water of Deugh, 6 miles (9.5 km) north of Carsphairn. The tiny Moor Loch lies close to its summit.
