Geal Charn

The most northeasterly of the Ladder Hills, Geal Charn lies at the head of Glenbuchat, on the border of Aberdeenshire and Moray Council Areas, between Strathdon and Glen Livet. The peak reaches a height of 683m (2240 feet), 12 miles (19 km) south of Dufftown. The River Livet rises between Geal Charn and Letterach to the west.

Another Geal Charn, of similar height, is located 6 miles (10 km) to the south southwest.
