A finger-like peninsula which extends south from the Walls Peninsula in the West Mainland of Shetland, Fora Ness lies between Sand Voe and Sandsound Voe 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Scalloway. It is 1½ miles (2.5 km) in length and the settlement of Sand lies at its head.
