Houss Ness

A peninsula which forms the southern half of the island of East Burra in Shetland, Houss Ness lies to the south of Houss. It is separated from the northern part of the island by the isthmus of Ayre Dyke, is 1½ miles (2.5 km) in length but rarely more than a third of a mile (0.5 km) in width. The Ward of Symbister (62m / 203 feet) is its highest point.
