Corrachadh Mor


(Corrachadh Mòr)

A bulbous little headland on the west coast of the Ardnamurchan peninsula in Highland Council Area, Corrachadh Mor, at 6 degrees, 13¾ minutes west, represents the westernmost point of the British mainland. It is very slightly further west than the Point of Ardnamurchan, which lies a half-mile (1 km) to the north and is generally accepted as Great Britain's westernmost point.
