Glen Turret

A remote valley which forms an arm of Glen Roy in Lochaber, Glen Turret extends north northwest for 1½ miles (2.5 km) from Brae Roy Lodge and contains the River Turret. Preserved on the valley sides are 'parallel roads', a continuation of the features most notably found in Glen Roy, which represent successive shorelines of an ancient ice-dammed lake.
