Located near Kirkbean, Dumfries and Galloway, this building was the birthplace of John Paul Jones in 1747. Jones is credited with being the father of the American Navy and exhibits here highlight his life and achievements. There is also a reconstruction of the cabin of his ship, the Bonhomme Richard, which was sunk in an engagement with the British off Flamborough Head in Yorkshire.
