Strachur Smiddy

The Strachur Smiddy is located in the village of Strachur, on the shore of Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute. Dating from the 1790s the Smiddy was in continual use until the 1950s, providing a vital blacksmith service to the local community. Since then, the interior has remained virtually unchanged and provides an insight to the work of the local blacksmith.
