A summit on the border between Renfrewshire and Inverclyde, Thornlybank Hill rises to 277m (908 feet) within plantation forest, 3½ miles (5.5 km) west southwest of Bridge of Weir. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar, while Ladymuir Reservoir is located on its eastern slopes.
