Inverpolly National Nature Reserve

A nature reserve in the Assynt district of Wester Ross, Inverpolly occupies a remote area of bog, moorland, woodland and mountain peaks to the south of Lochinver. There is a geological centre at Knockan Crag. Designated a National Nature Reserve in 1961, the reserve covers an area of 10,857 ha (26,827 acres).
