A summit on the northern slopes of Powmeadow Knowe, between Draw Grain and the Powmeadow Burn, Laird Knowe rises to 320m (1049 feet) close to the western boundary of South Lanarkshire, ¾ mile (1.2 km) east of Distinkhorn.
