A hill cloaked with plantation forest in the W of South Lanarkshire, Millstone Rig rises to 370m (1213 feet) on the western flank of Regal Hill, 4 miles (6.5 km) north of Muirkirk. The summit lies between the Powbrone Burn to the north and the Regal Burn to the south.
