Donolly Reservoir

A small reservoir which supplies North Berwick with water, the Donolly Reservoir is located 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Garvald in East Lothian. Retained by an earth embankment dam, it has a catchment of 433 ha (1070 acres) in the Lammermuir Hills to the south and draws most of its water from a diversion on the nearby Papana Water. It is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 13.7 ha (33 acres).
