Barcloy Hill

A hill in S Dumfries and Galloway, Barcloy Hill rises to 79m (259 feet) forming a headland at the mouth of the Rough Firth where it meets the Solway Firth. Rockcliffe lies a mile (1.5 km) to the northwest while Barcloy Mill and West Barcloy lie within the shadow of the hill. This hill is easily confused with another located at East Barcloy, 1½ miles (2.5 km) to the northeast.
