Craigieburn Forest

A 795-ha / 1964-acre coniferous forest plantation in the Moffat Hills of NE Dumfries and Galloway, Craigieburn Forest lies on hilly ground centred around Craigieburn Hill, on the right bank of the Moffat Water, 2 miles (3 km) east northeast of Moffat. It is contiguous with the Hunterheck Forest to the west. This forest is managed by Forest and Land Scotland, and benefits from parking, walking paths and picnic facilities.
