Bonchester Hill

A hill to the east of Bonchester Bridge in the S Scottish Borders, Bonchester Hill rises to 323m (1059 feet) overlooking the Rule Water, 6 miles (10 km) south of Jedburgh. The hill is topped by concentric ramparts which protected an Iron-Age fort that was most-likely occupied by the Romans.
