Torhousekie

A location on the Torhousemuir near Little Torhouse in the Bladnoch valley 3 miles (5 km) west of Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway, Torhousekie is the site of one of the best preserved prehistoric stone circles in the country. Dating from the 2nd millennium BC, the circle comprises 19 granite boulders. In the centre is a row of three stones that have been referred to as 'King Galdus's Tomb'.
