A rolling area of mountain tops within the Grampians of S Aberdeenshire, the Mounth Plateau rises to a height of 1110m (3641 feet) at Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach (a Munro peak), 1½ miles (2.5 km) south southwest of Lochnagar and 7½ miles (12 km) southeast of Braemar. Its other summits are the White Mounth and Creag a' Ghlas-uillt.
