Fleasgeir

(Fleisgeir)

A conspicuous, sharp-pointed and barren rock in the outer reaches of Loch Roag in the Western Isles, Fleasgeir (also Fleisgeir) lies between Bearasay and Floday, a half-mile west of the northwestern tip of Little Bernera. It reaches 13m (43 feet) in height and is the highest of a chain of rocks which extend north from Floday.
