Orasay Island

(Eilean Orasaigh)

A low-lying drying island located near the head of Loch Leurbost on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Orasay Island (Gael: Eilean Orasaigh) lies opposite the settlement of Leurbost. This little island should not be confused with a slightly larger island of the same name located at the mouth of the loch.
