A Munro in the S Grampian, Carn nan Gabhar (occasionally Carn Gower) rises to a height of 1122m (3681 feet) northeast of Blair Atholl in Perth & Kinross Council Area. The highest of the three peaks of the Beinn a' Ghlo massif, Carn nan Gabhar is also the most remote. There are two summits; the more northerly is the higher and is marked by a cairn, while to the southern another summit reaches 1120m / 3674 feet and is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed in
1936 for the re-triangulation of Great Britain.
