Cambus Pools Nature Reserve

A pair of salty ponds located on the north shore of a meander in the River Forth, immediately to the west of the outflow of the River Devon, Cambus Pools Nature Reserve represents a wet grassland which is a haven for migratory and breeding birds, notably waders and ducks. Managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, the reserve is located behind an extensive industrial area, which comprises whisky bonds and an intensive poultry farm.
