A small man-made loch in the grounds of Barony College, Barony Loch (also known as Kirkmichael Fishery) lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southeast of Parkgate (Dumfries and Galloway). Extending to 0.8 ha (2 acres), it contains a small island and supports a population of wild brown trout, perch, rudd, carp and tench.
