A small cove close to the eastern extremity of Easter Ross, Castlehaven (or Port a' Chaisteil) lies 1¼ miles (2 km) west northwest of Tarbat Ness. Nearby are the remains of an ancient castle which gave its name to the title Lord Castlehaven held by the Cromarty family.
