A Corbett at the head of the Cowal Peninsula, Beinn an Lochain rises to 901m (2956 feet) to the northwest of the Rest and Be Thankful between Gleann Mor and Glen Kinglas, 4 miles (6.5 km) north northeast of Lochgoilhead.
