Airngath Hill

A modest summit on the border between West Lothian and Falkirk, Airngath Hill rises to 171m (561 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) north of Linlithgow and 1½ miles (2.5 km) south of Bo'ness. Also once referred to as Glower-o'er'em. it represents the highest point on a ridge which separates these settlements and overlooks the Firth of Forth. The border between the Council Areas runs along its western slopes, with the Hope Monument to the southwest of the summit, just to the northeast of Grange.
