Bardrain Hill

One of the Gleniffer Braes of Renfrewshire, Bardrain Hill rises to 218m (715 feet) 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Johnstone and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Paisley. The principal summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation (trig) pillar, while subsidiary summits to the west rise to 210m (688 feet) and 190m (623 feet) respectively. There is a large electricity sub-station on its southern slopes, with high-voltage power lines emanating in all directions supported by pylons.
