A summit on the North Rhins of Galloway, Mulloch Hill rises to 160m (524 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) west of Knockquhassen Reservoir and 3½ miles (5.5 km) west of Stranraer. There are patches of plantation forest to the west and east.
