Maol Creag an Loch

(A' Chaoirnich)

A remote Corbett which rises to 875m (2870 feet) in the south of Highland Council Area, but with a long southern spur which crosses into Perth & Kinross, Maol Creag an Loch is located to the east of Loch an Duin, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Gaick Lodge and 7 miles (11 km) east northeast of the Pass of Drumochter. Its summit is broad and flat, while its northern flank is known as A' Chaoirnich, which sometimes gives its name to the entire mountain.
