Seven Acre Park

Seven Acre Park represents an area of former farmland in Alnwickhill, 3 miles (5 km) south of the centre of Edinburgh. The park is divided by Stanedykehead but extends to 2.8 ha (7 acres), including an area of community woodland. Facilities include a children's play area, a football pitch and picnic tables with impressive views over the city to the north. It was adopted by the City of Edinburgh Council c.1999 and the land gifted to the to the Alnwickhill Proprietors' Association in 2004.
