A hill within plantation forest to the east of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute, Beacon Hill rises to 166m (544 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Dalmally. The substantial McIntyre Monument occupies its summit, on the site of a hill-fort known as Dun Athaich (now lost). Nearby is a cross-incised stone, while an old military road passes just to the northwest of the summit.
