Castle Douglas Golf Club operates from a neat nine-hole course on Abercromby Road on the northwestern edge of the town. This tree-lined course is laid out on rolling parkland and extends to 2700 yards or 5400 yards if played twice as 18 holes, with a Par of 68. Unusually, this is a venue for 'footgolf'. There is a clubhouse with a lounge.
