Sgurr Mor

(Sgurr Mòr)

Remotely located south of Loch Quoich in the Lochaber district of Highland, Sgurr Mor rises to a cairn lying at a height of 1003m (3291 feet) and qualifies as a Munro. Its name is Gaelic and means "big peak", appropriate since it is massive and dominates the west end of Loch Quoich. There are other peaks named Sgurr Mor 8 miles (13 km) to the northwest and 9½ miles (15 km) to the west southwest.
