St Columba's Bay

A bay on the south coast of the island of Iona in the Inner Hebrides, St. Columba's Bay comprises two coves - Port na Curaich and Port an Fhir-bhrÚige - separated by a spur of rock. St. Columba is said to have landed at Port na Curaich in 563 AD. The beach pebbles here are often taken by pilgrims.
