Edensmuir is an extensive, although fragmented, forest in the Howe of Fife, which is managed principally by Forestry and Land Scotland. Also known as Ladybank Forest, it lies around the village of Ladybank, and comprises Cairnsfield Muir and Triangle Wood to the north, North and South Annsmuir Wood to the northeast, Gravel Pit Wood and Heggie's Muir Wood to the east, and Heatherhall Wood to the west. In the 19th C., when the forest was rather more contiguous, the northern and eastern sections were known as Melville Lower Woods, forming part of the estates of Melville House.
