(Ardsgoil Greenfaulds)

A six-year co-educational non-denominational secondary school which lies between the Condorrat and Greenfaulds districts in Cumbernauld (North Lanarkshire), Greenfaulds High School (Gael: Ardsgoil Greenfaulds) is located a mile (1.7 km) southwest of the town centre. Opened in 1971, the school comprises a long three-storey building on a sloping site, such that it gains an under-storey in the south. The school includes a large and well-equipped theatre, together with excellent physical education facilities including a swimming pool, a large games hall, gymnasium and fitness studio, football, hockey and rugby pitches and a full size running track to the west. Greenfaulds is the centre of secondary Gaelic provision for North Lanarkshire, currently with 74 pupils (2015).

The roll is currently 1279 (2015) but the school has the capacity for 1450 pupils. The school divides its pupils into nine houses; namely Arran, Bruce, Bute, Lewis, Lomond, Ness, Skye, Thistle and Wallace. There are 102 teaching and 27 support staff (2015).

Greenfaulds High School primarily serves the southwest of the New Town of Cumbernauld and draws most of its pupils from Woodlands Primary School in Greenfaulds, Baird Memorial and Condorrat Primary Schools in Condorrat, Eastfield Primary School, Ravenswood Primary School and Westfield Primary School.
