A small artificial water body in the Westfield district of Cumbernauld, St. Maurice's Pond is located to the south of St. Maurice's High School and 1½ miles (2.5 km) west southwest of the town centre. Created on the site of a former quarry, it now features a boardwalk which has been improved as part of the Cumbernauld Living Landscapes project in conjunction with the Scottish Wildlife Trust and St. Maurice's High School. A car park is provided to access the pond via asphalt paths.
