Black Hill

A modest summit in The Machars of Galloway, Black Hill rises to 111m (364 feet) immediately to the north of the A75 Trunk Road, 2 miles (3 km) east northeast of Glenluce. There are several summits called Black Hill, which are also drumlins, situated 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the east northeast, 4½ miles (7 km) to the northeast, 10½ miles (17 km) to the east northeast and 11 miles (18 km) to the east, together with the Black Hill of Barmore 4 miles (6.5 km) to the east northeast.
