Drumkerrick

A little hill surrounded by plantation forest in the W of Galloway, Drumkerrick rises to 113m (370 feet) to the south of the A75 Trunk Road, 3 miles (5 km) east northeast of Glenluce. It is linked to Long Hill to the northwest. Both are examples of drumlins, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet which covered the area.
