Blairderry Hill

A modest summit in The Machars of the W of Galloway, Barhapple rises to 122m (400 feet) making it one of the highest of the drumlins in the vicinity. The summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. Blairderry is located to the north of Derhagie Hill, 4¼ miles (7 km) east northeast of Glenluce and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
