Kiltersan Hill

A drumlin in the N of The Machars of Galloway, Kiltersan Hill rises to just beyond 135m (442 feet) immediately to the south of Barskeoch Fell, 2½ miles (4 km) west northwest of Kirkcowan. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its longer axis aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
