Hawk Hill is one of a number of drumlins in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway. The summit rises to 71m (232 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of Whauphill and 2 miles (3 km) west of Kirkinner. Hawk Hill Plantation extends over its southern slopes.
