Roan Hill

A drumlin, which is the middle of a group of three hillocks, in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Roan Hill rises to just beyond 50m (164 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) west of Kirkinner. It was deposited beneath an extensive ice sheet which once covered this area and is aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of flow.
