Kirkland Hill

A hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Kirkland Hill is the easternmost of a group of three hillocks, rising to 53m (173 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) northwest of Kirkinner. This is part of drumlin field and is aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of ice flow. Another Kirkland Hill located only 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the north northeast is also a drumlin.
