Barallan Hill

An oval hillock in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Barallan Hill rises to just beyond 45m (147 feet) on the left bank of the River Bladnoch, opposite House Hill, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west of Wigtown. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNE-SSW suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
