Shaw Hill

A hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Shaw Hill rises to just beyond 65m (213 feet) to the south of Barvernochan and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) west northwest of Kirkinner. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow. Confusingly, there is another drumlin named Shaw Hill just 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the west southwest.
